These keep the site working. They remember your appearance setting, your progress through an in-flight assessment, and basic security state such as protection against cross-site request forgery. Essential storage cannot be switched off, because MirrorMind would not function without it.

When you log in, our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits and so your reports load without asking for your password again. Signing out clears it. If you choose “Remember me”, the session simply lasts longer.

MirrorMind does not currently run analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, they will be off by default and controlled by the switch below — your preference is stored now and will be honoured then.

• Clearing authentication cookies signs you out; clearing essential storage may reset an unfinished assessment.
